Power Tip #52

Back

Backing onto your Snowguard ??

Mar 16/09
If your Ski-Doo has a tendency to stop you on top of your Snow Guard every time you back up your suspension is set too soft for the load and conditions. Remember that snow and ice pack under the machine and luggage packed on as well as heavy winter clothing all add to the total weight of the machine. Springs tend to soften up over time especially if reacting to many severe bumps. Get that tool out of the tool kit and clic it up, you will see the sled height go up as soon as you turn the adjusters. Remember too always turn from lowest to highest and then opposite to reduce for less load. If you turn that plastic adjuster at 30' below off the highest to lowest there is a possibility of cracking the plastic when that spring snaps down. Happy Trails!
